TWO FREE SHOWINGS of HOME ALONE: Bring the kids, grandkids, friends and family….see this Christmas classic on the BIG SCREEN. Free popcorn, too!
Almost 30 years after it first came out, Home Alone is still holding its own as a Christmas favorite. The beloved comedy is about a young boy named Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) who was left behind when his family leaves for a holiday vacation in France. He learns to buy groceries, feed himself, entertain himself and eventually set a series of booby traps for a couple of bumbling burglars (Dan Pesci and Daniel Stern) who plan to rob the whole Winnetka, Illinois neighborhood where he lives.

A hilarious comedy that kids will love and adults won’t mind sitting through either.

Its endearing story and a charming performance by Culkin make Home Alone a standout among the usual holiday movie fare.

I’m astonished by how well the movie holds up if you don’t believe me, watch it with your kids. All the jokes work, the kicker still leaves them satisfied. And the star, Culkin, was as great in his way as Jackie Coogan was in Chaplin’s “The Kid”. You can’t stop watching.
