FOOD & FILM SERIES

Our popular Food & Film Series is back! Kim Martin, Owner of Eventide Specialties, pastry chef and wizard of all things culinary, member of the Board of Harbor Theater and friend to all, is offering five films (January – May) with international food and wine pairings.

This year, we’ve made a few tweaks to make the experience even more special:

  • Each month will feature one carefully selected film and a fully customized menu to match the movie’s theme.
  • Events will take place on the 4th Monday of each month, with films announced one month in advance.

Space is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance—so plan ahead and secure your spot for these unique evenings of delicious food and captivating cinema!

Join us for the first event in January, and let’s make 2025 a year full of flavor and great films.

EAT PRAY LOVE (2010)
6:00 P.M. - FOOD SERVICE

PG13 | 2 hours, 13 minutes
(Drama/Romance)

Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) seemed to have it all—a loving husband, a beautiful home, and a thriving career—everything society tells us should make us happy. Yet, she felt unfulfilled, lost, and uncertain about her true desires. After a painful divorce and reaching a turning point in her life, Liz decides to leave her comfort zone behind and take a leap of faith.

Her journey of self-discovery takes her across the globe: indulging in the joys of food in Italy, seeking spiritual connection through prayer in India, and ultimately finding balance and unexpected love in Bali.

Based on Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling memoir, Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman’s Search for Everything Across Italy, India, and Indonesia, this heartfelt film is a celebration of courage, personal growth, and the beauty of embracing life’s many flavors.
"The movie is aware of its own riches; it fills up your plate and dares you not to eat."
Joshua Rothkopf
