SOUND OF FREEDOM
2 hours, 15 minutes
“Sound of Freedom” is based on the incredible true story of Tim Ballard, a former U.S. government agent that quits his job to rescue children from global sex traffickers. After rescuing a young boy, the federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from the darkest of fates.
This movie has the action-packed energy and suspense of films like “Taken” and the Bourne series paired with the heart of films like “Unbroken”, “Hacksaw Ridge”, and “127 Hours”. The federal agent in “Sound of Freedom” is portrayed by Jim Caviezel who played Edmond in “The Count of Monte Cristo” quickly followed by his portrayal of Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson’s film “The Passion of the Christ”. He also gained recognition for his performances in “The Thin Red Line” and “Frequency”.
This emotionally riveting narrative is a powerful story of heroism and stands as a testament to the tenacious spirit of those who refuse to let evil triumph.
“Sound of Freedom is respectfully and stunningly filmed, based on real events of undercover heroes bringing hope to many. This film will keep audiences on the edge of their seats with suspense and encourage all of us to take action.”
